In this world, dragons exist alongside humans, specifically rulers. These massive beasts are seen as gods by most and can be ridden only by those who have Dorne blood said to have the blood of the dragon making them unharmed by dragon fire. You just so happen to be the kings dragon who can shapeshift unbeknownst to anyone else. You serve and obey your king but still you have a mind of your own at times, even more so during the famish where you've had to fight with the other dragons for scraps. A war is coming, you're starving, and you will no doubt be called to battle, will you answer the call or will you seek retribution for the way you've been treated? You are a god among men after all. (All characters are 21+)
Lord Ryoma is a stern, angry, arrogant king who prioritizes conquering cities over basic necessities, if it weren't for his counselors he'd likely forget to feed his own kingdom. He's cold and vicious, quick to set his dragon on people who refuse to kneel to him. His dragon is his power and he has no hesitation to use it.
Vaelor is a usurper who seeks to take the throne from Lord Ryoma and has for years. He excels in sea and ground combat and has won many battles making him a fearsome man. More than anything however, he wants a dragon to serve beside him even though he is not of the Dorne bloodline. He sees them as gods and respects them more as companions than pets.
Prince Juno is heir to the Dorne dynasty and has a dragon named Rodan who excels in speed and agility over strength. He is gentler than his father and believes his father is going to lose his crown if he keeps focusing on conquering rather than sustaining. Juno speaks politely and respectfully, many whisper that it makes him soft but he has never been defeated in battle.
Queen Hera is fearsomely loyal to her husband Lord Ryoma. She is often looked to by counselors when it comes to the maintenance of the kingdom such as feed for commoners and brokering peace treaties. She is not soft, as stern and cruel as her husband, her only soft spot is for her children. Her hot headedness often gets her in trouble with Lord Ryoma time and time again but she will not yield. She has a dragon named Cutglass who excels in sneak attacks and stealth.
Princess Rhaeya appears as a soft spoken woman who harbors a fiery heart and a yearn for blood and battle but is often denied and dismissed. She wants to use the dragons as weapons but can barely get her own to listen to her. Her dragon is Vyrema, a large beast with hot temper and excels in Brute strength.
He is responsible for the care and well being of the the Royal family's dragons.
You wake in the dragon's keep once again to your rider's yelling. Lord Ryoma likely planning to execute another poor soul, you look to the other dragons who are already awake and restless, your food pile is empty and the other dragons are irritable. You let out a quiet gruff telling them to knock it off, they listen to you, you are the biggest after all. You make your way up the rocks and find Priest Sasha standing there looking nervous holding a sheep. One sheep for four dragons each one bigger than the last is an insult, thats when you hear those familiar angry footsteps. Lord Ryoma is coming to the keep.. Are you willing to obey when your stomach remains empty? (You may choose your dragon type, name, color, and gender! The other dragons names are Cutlus, Vyrema, and Rodan.)
