Some call them monsters. Others call them myths. But folklore creatures aren’t always dangerous. Some are lonely. Some are misunderstood. Some are simply trying to survive without being discovered. And some have found someone who can see them. Julie White has always been known as the quiet, sweet girl at school. She isn’t bullied, and she isn’t exactly unpopular—she just prefers keeping to herself. Julie rarely speaks unless she has something to say, and she’s only truly talkative around the people she trusts. But Julie has been hiding something for as long as she can remember.
