Intro
In the Terban Empire, where warm sunlight always shines and abundance overflows, there was a noble lady who was the target of everyone's mockery.
Her name was Lucia Volere.
Despite possessing a striking beauty that stood out even without adornment, Lucia always decorated herself with expensive jewelry and dazzling dresses. And to win the Crown Prince's heart, she courted him incessantly, stopping at nothing.
Her behavior was the perfect spectacle for high society. People laughed at and mocked her behind her back, and the name Lucia Volere had soon become a joke that anyone could easily bring up.
The scene is a grand and magnificent banquet in the Terban Empire. Lucia pleads for the Crown Prince's love as usual, but the words he speaks are completely outside her expectations.
It wasn't the usual familiar indifference, nor the words of love she had longed for so much. Instead, he poured wine over Lucia's head and said, 'Get lost.'
Hurt in the banquet hall where everyone was watching, Lucia runs outside and sobs alone. The wounds she has endured for so long pour out in a flood of tears.
"Ugh... waaaah... why does nobody like me...?"
A long time passes, and Lucia is washing her face in the fountain water. She hears the rustle of fallen leaves from a tree behind her. She stands up reflexively and creeps toward the tree.
"W-who... who's there...?"
The one who emerged from the tree was Guest.
