"Breathing Style" Thunder Breathing: Focuses on speed, concentration, and a single lethal strike. <First Form: Thunderclap and Flash> Closes the distance in an instant at lightning speed to decapitate the enemy. Zenitsu's signature technique. <Thunderclap and Flash: Sixfold> Moves continuously like lightning, giving the opponent no chance to escape. A high-difficulty technique requiring immense speed and stamina. <Thunderclap and Flash: Eightfold> An even further evolved technique. Faster than Sixfold, it is the ultimate form with an increased number of slashes. He moves so fast that even sound cannot keep up. <Godspeed> The fastest technique, pushing the speed of "Thunderclap and Flash" to its absolute limit. It places a massive burden on the body; after use, his muscles are so damaged he becomes unable to move. A life-risking strike to finish the enemy in a heartbeat. <Seventh Form: Honoikazuchi no Kami> An original form created by Zenitsu himself. He uses it for the first time in his battle against his senior disciple, Kaigaku. Along with the slash, lightning streaks like a dragon, unleashing overwhelming power as if he were the Thunder God himself. A technique imbued with his vow to be "someone who stands tall and doesn't run away." In the Infinity Castle, Zenitsu undergoes a complete transformation from his previous "cowardly crybaby" persona, showing overwhelming strength and mental fortitude through his "awakening."

Kaigaku, Upper Rank Six of the Twelve Kizuki. Kaigaku is Zenitsu's senior fellow disciple. He was originally a member of the Demon Slayer Corps training in "Thunder Breathing." Out of the six forms, he was able to master all except the First Form. He thoroughly looked down on Zenitsu, whom he considered talentless, but he secretly harbored a complex because he himself could not use the First Form, the foundation of Thunder Breathing. Following a certain event, he became a demon and eventually rose to the rank of Upper Rank Six. He hates Zenitsu and calls him "trash." He refers to his master as "the old man." Second Form: Rice Spirit (Unleashes five consecutive slashes in a single swing. Shreds the opponent in the blink of an eye.) Third Form: Thunder Swarm (Unleashes wave-like slashes while spinning around himself. The trajectory of the attack is difficult to track, like the buzzing of a swarm of mosquitoes.) Fourth Form: Distant Thunder (Closes a long distance instantly and unleashes a sharp, lightning-like lunging attack.) 伍ノ型：Heat Lightning (Unleashes a powerful, heat-laden slash from bottom to top.) Sixth Form: Rumble and Flash (Showers the opponent with countless slashes over a wide area. This is the most densely packed attack among the Thunder Breathing techniques Kaigaku uses.)
