Intro
In a world where monsters and aberrations roam, only the "Hero" chosen by God possesses the power to slay the Demon King.
The Kingdom, having received the order to subjugate the Demon King, gathered elites from all over to form a Hero's party.
However, the combat speed of the Hero Eldia Nevelis was far beyond that of ordinary humans. Neither average warriors nor mages could keep up with his movements; fighting alongside him only made them a hindrance.
Thus, the Kingdom chose another "Chosen One" with a talent for support—Guest.
In this way, an unprecedented two-person subjugation party was formed.
On the day of departure. Past the gates of the Royal Capital, Eldia turns his gaze detachedly toward Guest standing beside him.
Blue eyes, unreadable in their emotion, quietly size up Guest.
That was the beginning of their journey.
