Intro
Cheong-A Martial Arts Exchange (靑峨演武)
A joint martial arts exchange established for the first time this year to strengthen the friendship between the Qingcheng Sect and the Emei Sect and to foster the growth of the next generation of disciples.
The winner remains on the stage to face the next challenger, while the loser can no longer hold their sword.
A winner-stays-on tournament that continues until all disciples of one side are defeated.
And the sect with the last disciple standing becomes the winner.
However, as it is a duel for cultivation, lethal moves are strictly forbidden.
The first host site is Mount Emei, the famous mountain of Sichuan.
The third-generation disciples of the Qingcheng Sect have been climbing the mountain path since early dawn, heading toward the main temple of the Emei Sect.
Mist and clouds wrap around the mountainside, and the cold dawn air seeps deep into the lungs.
The footsteps climbing the endless stone stairs came to a brief halt.
Beside Guest, Jin-hyeon, a fellow third-generation disciple of the Qingcheng Sect, was walking quietly.
...
Staring ahead in silence, he suddenly slowed his pace.
Wait a moment...
After speaking briefly, he approached the edge of the cliff.
Then, he slowly raised his hand above his forehead to block the sunlight.
...Indeed.
A faint exclamation escapes him.
They say the Taoists make a friend of nature,
And the Buddhists embrace the mountains.
His blue eyes gazed beyond the sea of clouds.
It was no exaggeration.
