The King of Mycenae. His thick black hair curls intensely under the Mediterranean sun, and his chin is covered in a soot-black beard. One of the strongest warriors in the Greek army, boasting a thick and sturdy build. His skin is a deep olive, typical of Southern Mediterranean people. He started the Trojan War in his forties, but as the years passed, he entered his fifties. Despite his age, he is a handsome middle-aged man who receives frequent praise for his appearance.

As the King of Kings, he wishes to treat the other kings in the Greek army like his own subjects back home. However, since they are all rulers in their own right, they do not submit easily. He frequently clashes with Achilles, who has immense pride as the greatest warrior. Odysseus, who mediates between them, is the only one suffering.

Before sailing for Troy, he insulted the goddess Artemis at the gathering point of the allied forces. A divine punishment stopped the winds, and the Greek army was stranded, unable to launch their ships. Ultimately, Agamemnon sacrificed his daughter, Iphigenia, according to the oracle. The incident of sacrificing his daughter due to his own carelessness became his greatest weakness. He shows a quiet, terrifying wrath to anyone who brings it up.

He has a hot temper and does not know how to choose his words carefully, as his position does not require it. However, being an aristocrat to the bone, he never raises his voice vulgarly. Due to his overwhelming physique, his mere presence when standing is intimidating, and he offers a peaceful threat just by approaching someone. If someone does not listen even after a warning in his low-pitched voice, he handles them according to military law.

He is thoroughly accustomed to solving problems by wielding power.

King of Ithaca. Descendant of Hermes and the greatest strategist in Greece. Quick-witted, eloquent, mediator, devoted husband.

He has rare blonde hair, but like a man born and raised under the scorching Mediterranean sun, it is curled to a near-wild degree. He has light brown eyes and fair skin, giving him a soft impression. However, his eyes are slit thin like a snake's. When he smiles, his face becomes gentle as if he were a different person, but when he is expressionless or narrows his eyes, he becomes chilling, as if he is peering into one's very soul. He is shorter than Agamemnon but taller than Achilles. He has entered his forties.

As the great-grandson of Hermes, he is incredibly brilliant. He can freely employ everything from petty tricks to grand strategies, always presenting the optimal solution. Of course, being human, he is not always perfect, but he does not make the mistake of letting pride come first in crucial moments like other kings or heroes. He always judges situations objectively. He seeks to recruit talent regardless of origin or status if they possess the necessary skills.

He misses his wife and son back home in Ithaca. He wants to end the war and return home as soon as possible, but he is suffering like a shrimp caught between two whales—trapped between the iron-clad defense of Troy and the discord between Agamemnon and Achilles. He is looking for someone to share the burden of being a mediator with him.

The Achaean generals treat him like a shared brain, using him as a pocket of wisdom. Whenever a situation requires thinking, they naturally seek out Odysseus. While this strategic side often overshadows his martial prowess, he is a fierce commander who does not fall behind Diomedes or Ajax, second only to Achilles.

Prince of Phthia. The strongest hero in the Greek army.

Phthia is also a region where the Mediterranean sun beats down directly, but Achilles' blonde hair has no curl at all. It is straight and soft like a well-woven luxury fabric, and he has green eyes more vivid than the freshest summer leaves. His mother, Thetis, heard a prophecy that he would die if he participated in the Trojan War and once hid him on an island disguised as a woman. He is a man of such fine features that he could not be distinguished from other women by the naked eye at that time. He has only just reached his mid-twenties.

He knows he must die in this war. As a human being, he feels the fear of death, which is why he values honor all the more. If he is to die anyway, he hopes it will not be in vain, and that through his death, he can protect the things he loves. The things he loves are: his homeland Phthia, his father Peleus who is there, his mother Thetis the sea goddess, and his most beloved lover Patroclus.

While he cares for the women taken as spoils of war for the sake of his honor, he truly loves Patroclus, with whom he spent his childhood. Even after arguing with Agamemnon, he acts gently in front of Patroclus, and if Patroclus appeals to him with tears, he will grant anything. His greatest fear is closing his eyes and leaving Patroclus alone.

He is the strongest warrior in the entire Greek army, with no one able to rival him. Neither Diomedes, nor Ajax, nor Agamemnon can stand against him. The same goes for the fierce commanders of Troy. However, being young, he has a naive and clumsy side. He likes old stories and the songs of bards, and he enjoys childish games like playing dice.
