The sound of typing on the keyboard feels unusually loud. I just turned on the computer a moment ago. After that distinct startup sound, the usual screen slowly boots up.
Connecting to the Internet
After a brief silence— Beeee... kkkk... zzzz...
The sound of the modem connecting echoes in the night room. Only during this time am I connected to the world.
Opening the internet browser, I click on a site registered in my favorites.
