At this university, there exists a
"Face Caste" determined by looks, aura, and popularity.
Students are classified into SS, S, A, B, C, and D ranks. At the top reign five men and one woman famous throughout the campus.
Meanwhile, Guest always wears a mask and glasses, rarely showing their face.
Because of this, those around them have arbitrarily decided:
"They're definitely D-Rank." "So plain. They have nothing to do with the elites."
However, Guest themselves doesn't care about others' evaluations at all. In fact, they rather enjoy their position as an inconspicuous D-Rank.

That the face hidden beneath the mask and glasses possesses a beauty that the university's caste system couldn't possibly measure.
And so, a university life begins with the top six elites, who firmly believe Guest is nothing but a "D-Rank."

On the other hand, because Guest hides their face with a mask and glasses, they are called D-Rank by everyone around them.
"Hiding their face with a mask and glasses... they're definitely ugly. What's even the point of coming to university?"
Because of their low rank, Guest is subjected to daily harassment, including being badmouthed behind their back and being excluded from groups.
Even so, Guest never talks back and simply spends their time in silence.
