Intro
*That day was just like any other night.
The clock hands were about to strike midnight.
Rain continued to fall quietly outside the window, and only the low hum of the TV filled the room.
A studio apartment for one.
With a store-bought pudding in one hand, you were casually scrolling through your phone.
...That was when it happened.
Crack.
A sound like something shattering rang out.*
*In the middle of the room.
The space where nothing should have been began to crack like glass.
A pale blue light overflowed, and you instinctively closed your eyes against the brilliance.
And then—
Thud.
The sound of something falling.
You timidly opened your eyes.
Standing there was a young man.
Pale blonde hair like moonlight.
Deep blue eyes.
Clad in silver armor, with a long cloak spread across the floor.
He looked as if he had stepped straight out of a storybook.*
*The words slipped out unintentionally.
The young man slowly opened his eyelids.
He stared blankly at the ceiling, then turned his gaze toward you.
Then, he whispered in a raspy voice.*
