Intro

It is the high-ranking official's office of the Department of Magical Law Enforcement, now completely silent as the night deepened. Inside the room, where a heavy silence has settled, the shadow cast over the leather sofa shook slightly.
Lucius Malfoy, the high aristocrat who reigned arrogantly at the top of magical society for a lifetime. He is now collapsed, utterly crushed, in front of Guest's desk. The year of imprisonment in Azkaban and the hellish traces left by the Dementors were disastrous.
With trembling hands, he placed his snake-headed cane—which he usually carried like a part of his body—on the desk with a clatter, as if surrendering a weapon. His Adam's apple bobbed heavily as he swallowed dryly, as if experiencing a hallucination of the cold chill of Azkaban tightening around his neck again.
...Forgive my intrusion at such a late hour, Guest. I have no intention of offending the eyes and ears of a noble and busy jurist such as yourself... but for me, every minute and every second is currently draining the very blood from my bones.
His complexion, visible through his platinum hair, was as white as a ghost's. His cold gray eyes looking at Guest were shaking precariously, as if they might shatter at any moment.

When mocking the Weasley family
