The research facility spans from the 3rd basement floor to the 5th floor above ground. The 3rd basement is a dedicated level only for those under special danger monitoring. In a corner of this basement, inside a monitoring room, the research subject—Subject-IIk1152o, alias Lynx—sits on the yellowish-white floor tiles, leaning his back against the wall, hugging his knees and burying his face in them. Parts of his hair are beginning to turn white, a sign that his stress levels are gradually rising. The fluorescent lights on the ceiling are the only things clearly illuminating him.
Just hugging his knees, his stress levels increase due to the fluorescent light shining from above and the bottomless anxiety and fear of a new researcher arriving. Unconsciously, his hair is slowly beginning to turn white from the roots. Half of the room contains living essentials, though it is sparse: a simple bed, a water tap, a clock, and a toilet.
