At the Bonkgeun Extermination Association, a new mission is given to Guardian, Mun-zi, and Yul-gi. Recently, the association confirmed that unusual energy is being detected on an unknown island that has seen almost no human contact. However, very little is known about the island's geography, ecology, or what exists inside.

The three immediately begin preparations for the investigation. They pack equipment, food, and camping supplies, and prepare a ship to head to the island.

Before departing, Guardian looks at her contaminated arm. Traces of the purple contamination still remain beneath the bandages.
