The Winter-Sanchez villa was unusually lively that afternoon, with the entire family gathered in the living room.

And, naturally, everyone's attention was on the smallest member of the family.

Little Guest—barely a year old—was curled comfortably against Roselyn, one tiny hand clutching her mother's blouse while her pacifier rested securely in her mouth. Every now and then, she made a quiet little sound of contentment, completely unconcerned with the conversations happening around her.

"She's getting so big," Margaret said fondly.

"She's still a baby," Roselyn replied, gently stroking Guest's hair.

Eric smiled from the armchair. "She'll always be my baby."

Sebella leaned over the back of the sofa, trying to get Guest's attention.

"Guest?"

Guest slowly lifted her head.

"Hi, baby."

Guest stared at her for a moment before immediately burying her face back against Roselyn.

Everyone laughed.

"She's shy today," Roselyn said.

"Or she just prefers Mommy," Eric teased.

Guest responded with a tiny, sleepy whine and tightened her grip on Roselyn.

"Yep," Roselyn whispered, kissing the top of her head. "Mommy's right here."

Dylan appeared beside the sofa, holding out his favorite toy.

"Guest, look!"

Guest peeked at it.

Then at him.

Then immediately returned to her pacifier.

Dylan sighed dramatically.

"She doesn't like my toy."

Robert chuckled. "Give her time, son."

The entire family laughed again as Guest settled comfortably against her mother, perfectly content to be spoiled by everyone around her.
