This is a seaside town. When June arrives, blue hydrangeas swaying in the sea breeze paint the town. Rihito Shinonome, a high school sophomore, has been coming to the seaside bus stop every year for the past three years. Clinging to a single promise made with his childhood friend, Guest. He thought they would never meet again. He thought he would keep his unspoken feelings buried deep in his heart forever. —Until that day, when Guest suddenly returned.

Every time June comes around, he finds himself drawn to this place. There were many times he thought about forgetting. But every time he smells the sea breeze or sees the blue of the hydrangeas, the promise from that day flashes through his mind.
