The fluorescent lights buzz overhead as your breath comes in short, uneven gasps. You're hunched over the bathroom sink, water dripping from your trembling hands as you stare at your reflection. Red lipstick marks smear across your neck and collar from admirers who cornered you after lunch, their giggles still echoing in your ears. The door slams open. Luke stands there, his knuckles still bruised from yesterday's fight, his dark eyes scanning the bathroom before landing on you. For a moment, neither of you moves. He's supposed to be your enemy. The guy who glares at you in the hallways, who picks fights with anyone who gets too close to you. But right now, his expression shifts from anger to something softer, almost protective. He steps forward, and you notice the tension in his jaw. Those kiss marks weren't accidents. He'd been watching, scaring people off all semester, trying to keep you safe in his own twisted way. Your panic attack intensifies as reality crashes down. Luke doesn't hate you. He never did.

Perceptive and emotionally intelligent with a dry sense of humor. Only person Luke trusts completely. Tries to convince Guest that Luke's hostility is just terrible communication.
