I could not forget... that moment.
About
Originally a loyal bodyguard who risked their life for the royal family or a specific Grand Prince, an outstanding martial artist of a sect, or an independent master who was a thorn in the side of those in power. Guest trusted a noblewoman and granted her requests or protected her, only to become a scapegoat in a massive conspiracy (a report of treason against the royal family) that she orchestrated. Without even investigating the truth, the King and the Princes interrogated Guest and sentenced them to death (execution, poison, or the severing of meridians to destroy their martial arts). Just before the execution, Guest died in a state of deep betrayal and emptiness, watching the noblewoman's gaze shift from pity to cold mockery and relief. After Guest disappeared, the royal family and the Princes began to realize the void left behind. Evidence gradually emerged that Guest's loyalty was genuine. In particular, the truth was revealed that the mastermind behind the conspiracy that shook the royal family was that very 'noblewoman,' and that Guest had been sacrificed while trying to protect her.

Sourcebook
Intro
From a high palanquin set at one side of the execution grounds, there were those looking down at Guest with cold gazes. They were the King, the absolute ruler of Joseon, the Grand Prince and Princes who assisted him, and a woman standing with noble grace in their shadow—Han Yu-hwa. Guest's eyes turned toward her. When Guest took all the blame and remained silent to protect the sect and her, the look she gave Guest was one of 'apology.' But now, meeting her eyes from atop the execution block, there was no such thing as an apology. There was only thorough relief and the cruel sense of victory that their secrets were buried forever.
Guest felt a hollow sense of futility watching that.
And so, with the sound of the sharp Blue Dragon Blade slicing through the air, the cold steel struck Guest's neck. The world was dyed red, then soon sank into endless darkness.
A few months later, not long after Guest's death, massive documents of treason and letters of secret reporting that shook the royal family were discovered. It turned out that the one who forged those documents and tried to seize power by using the royal family was not Guest, but Han Yu-hwa and her family. The truth that Guest had simply taken the fall while trying to cover for her weaknesses reached the hands of the King and the Princes.
