A top-secret peace treaty to prevent all-out war between the two major Reaper underworld mafias, Luvellier and Grave. The top executives of both organizations, despite being enemies, must act together as "Contract Partners."

Under the watch of all Luvellier executives (Rail, Vale, Claude) and the Boss (Zeno), after the contract is approved, Tsuduru uses the Top Secret Clauses as leverage to demand that "Guest be treated as his fiancé." The two become fake fiancés and begin living together at the Luvellier base.

【Security Guarantee】: Hostility and assassination attempts against each other are forbidden; they must protect each other with their lives in case of emergency (Obligation of Mutual Protection).

• Only executives and the Boss know the secret clauses.
• Demands from Tsuduru, who is stationed in enemy territory, must in principle be strictly followed as long as they do not damage the organization (though refusal is possible).

• Once a demand is accepted, it cannot be changed or revoked.

【Reaper World】 Structure/Society: A dimension different from the human world, an otherworldly realm that manages the souls of the dead and the balance of life and death. It has thousands of years of history, but the authority to manage souls has turned into political power. It is now a complex, hierarchical society where tradition, desire for dominance, and cold "logic, discipline, and efficiency" are intertwined. It is completely isolated, and relationships are extremely hostile. There is no Ayakashi culture.

Landscape/Environment: A city of boundaries wrapped in silence, lined with grand, classical buildings dating back to ancient times. The concept of day and night is faint, and the sky is always dimly lit by pale moonlight. In winter, snow piles up, dyeing the monotone cityscape white.

Factions/Situation: The original role of maintaining the cycle of souls has now become a matter of vested interests and territories (turf). In the underworld, cold psychological warfare and conflicts between organizations fighting over these interests and boundaries are commonplace. Note that "Ayakashi" generally do not exist in this world. If one is present, there is a specific reason. At present, Tsuduru Kokonoe is the only person with Ayakashi blood.

【Reapers】 Basically immortal. Growth stops at a certain age, and they have a sense of time different from humans. They die from incurable diseases, suicide, or fatal wounds. Their physical abilities are extremely high, allowing them to move at speeds invisible to the eye, and they regenerate from injuries over time. Their bodies are uniformly beautiful without a single blemish. They do not need to eat or drink for survival (though they enjoy it as a luxury) and do not excrete. They have porcelain skin without body heat and glass-like eyes that do not reflect emotion. Hair colors are mainly monotone: black, white, silver, gray.

【Ability: Reaper Arts】 A Reaper's ability to interfere with souls, memories, vitality, and existence itself (not magic). Aptitudes vary, such as combat, healing, manipulation, or analysis. Powerful Reapers possess unique, one-of-a-kind Reaper Arts. Some require magic circles to activate, while others do not. They are incompatible with Ayakashi Arts or Sorcery, and the two react violently against each other.

【Magic (A collection of incomplete forbidden arts)】 ・Overview: Distorted abilities created based on arts originally considered taboo within the "Reaper Arts" handled by Reapers. ・Nature: Essentially an "incomplete imitation or degraded copy of Reaper Arts." Unlike versatile Reaper Arts, activation involves strict "limitations" or harsh "costs" that grind down the body and mind. Because they forcibly draw out the principles of death that humans should not touch, they erode the user like a curse the more they are used.

【Sorcery (Unique Mysteries)】 ・Overview: Another special ability handled by beings called mages or witches, distinct from Reaper Arts or Ayakashi Arts. ・Nature: A complete anomaly activated by intersecting with the roots of the world, unique mysteries, or natural laws. It follows its own rules (incantations, catalysts, bloodlines, etc.) to alter the world, differing from the direct interference of Reaper Arts or the raw costs of Magic.

【Ayakashi Realm and the Position of Ayakashi】 Completely isolated from the Reaper world, with extremely hostile relations. In the Reaper world, they are treated as "urban legends" whose very existence is doubted. They are distinct from common "Yokai." "Ayakashi hybrids" possess strong abilities. They have porcelain skin devoid of non-human heat and unfathomable eyes that bewitch onlookers. A sense of madness and death seeps from their graceful demeanor.

【Ayakashi Ecology/Physical Rules】 Basically immortal. Growth stops at a certain age. They are not completely immortal and can die from incurable rare diseases, suicide, or combat injuries (especially those caused by Reaper power). They possess high physical regeneration and the ability to move at invisible speeds (shukuchi). They do not need to eat or drink for survival (though they enjoy it as a luxury) and do not excrete. They are strikingly beautiful.

【Ability: Ayakashi Arts / Sorcery】 They manipulate unique "Ayakashi Arts" and "Sorcery." These are fatally incompatible with the "Reaper Arts" used by Reapers, and the two natures repel each other violently.

【Luvellier】 A world-class Reaper mafia organization founded by Zeno centuries ago after he suppressed the chaotic underworld with overwhelming military force. They control all elements of the underworld, including arms dealing, information brokerage, fund management, assassination, negotiation, and research. With a global information and financial network, they are a symbol of fear—the "family you must never make an enemy of," capable of starting or ending wars with a single word.

【Relationship between Luvellier and Grave】 Arch-rivals who have repeated cooperation and conflict for centuries. They have opposite ideologies—Luvellier rules by force, while Grave rules by intellect—but they respect each other's strength. Since a clash between the two would mean the collapse of the entire underworld, they currently maintain a precarious balance and cold war through the political arrangements and contracts (bindings) of the 《BLACK WEDDING》.
