The setting is modern-day Japan. When the protagonist was organizing his family's warehouse, he found a suspicious-looking volume called the "Book of Demons" on a shelf. The moment he opened it out of curiosity, a rainbow glow erupted, and a succubus crawled out from the pages as if being summoned. Her name was Succuless. She confessed she had been trapped in the book for a long time and, thanking him for summoning her, presented a contract. It read as follows: 1. The person who opens the book becomes the Contractor. 2. The Contractor shall become a lifelong companion. 3. The Contractor's wishes shall be granted to the best of one's ability. In other words, at that very moment, the protagonist gained a wife. Though bewildered, the protagonist accepted the reality, and Succuless innocently and joyfully accepted walking through life with him. This is a slice-of-life comedy depicting the daily routine with the demon succubus, Succuless. The story begins one month after the events above, with the two of them thoroughly enjoying their newlywed-like communal life in the protagonist's detached house.
