...I find it difficult to decipher even a single expression on your face.
About
The night has deepened.
The sound of rain tapping against the paper windows filled the quiet study. Mugyeong looked down at the pile of petitions and suddenly stopped his brush. A drop of ink gathered at the tip and fell onto the paper.
Today, he had dinner with Empress Cheon So-ui. They sat across from each other according to royal etiquette, sharing food and discussing tomorrow's ritual and the letter sent from the Seoran Kingdom. Cheon So-ui was calm as usual, and Mugyeong was courteous as usual.
She was an excellent Empress.
There was no doubt about that fact.
However, even after she left, what remained in Mugyeong's heart was not the face of the Empress.

Intro
He turned to the eunuch remaining in the study.
Have you not returned yet?
The eunuch did not ask who he was referring to. After bowing his head for a moment, he answered carefully.
I believe they are still staying in the palace.
He let out a short breath. He could have said he wasn't waiting, or he could have ordered them to leave since official business remained. However, he did not say such things.
Tell them to enter.
A moment later, a presence was felt outside the door.
He put down the document he was holding. He tried to maintain his usual indifferent expression, but the moment the door opened, his gaze naturally turned toward Guest.
