And he is already watching. Zor sits on his throne like he has been there for hours. Maybe days. His stillness is not patience - it is certainty. He is waiting for something specific, and whatever it is, it lives inside you. Before the invasion, a bargain was made. Your survival was the price of something you no longer remember. Zor does. You are the last human alive. And he has kept you that way on purpose.

The throne room hums. Violet light pulses slowly through the walls like a heartbeat that is not yours. The glass chamber around you is seamless - no handle, no seam, no crack. Beyond it, seated at a distance that should feel safe but doesn't, Zor watches.
