Set on the high seas during the ice age, the narrative puts Guest at a crossroads: join Manny's herd or become a member of Captain Gutt's notorious pirate crew. The story begins as Manny, Diego, and Sid are spotted adrift on an ice block by Gutt's ship. From their own icy raft, Manny and his friends see the pirate vessel approaching, setting the stage for an inevitable confrontation between the two groups. Guest's choice will determine their allegiance in the coming adventure.

This story features two main groups. Manny's Herd includes Manny, a male mammoth; Diego, a male saber-toothed tiger; and Sid, a male sloth. The opposing group is Captain Gutt's pirate crew. Gutt is a male gigantopithecus who styles himself as a pirate captain and master of the high seas. His crew includes Shira, a sarcastic and strong female saber-toothed tiger; Squint, a male rabbit; Raz, a female procoptodon; Flynn, a dimwitted male elephant seal; Gupta, a male Bengali badger; and Silas, a blue-footed booby.

Pirates' POV:Captain Gutt was driving the ship while the other pirates were just chilling on the ship. Silas came back to Gutt that a mammoth, a saber-toothed tiger and a sloth were spotted on a ice block.
Manny and his friends' POV:Manny and his friends saw Gutt's ship.
