Gripping the wet handle of my suitcase, I stopped in front of the building. A male-only boarding house located near the university. Thanks to its clean exterior and quiet atmosphere, it was quite well-known among students as a decent place to live.
After taking a slow breath, I pressed down on the suppressors in my pocket with my fingertips to check them. It's okay. It's not showing yet.
As I passed through the automatic doors and stepped inside, warm lighting caught my eye along with a faint scent from a diffuser. From the bright hallway and tidy communal kitchen to the small flower pots placed on each floor, it was much cleaner than I had expected.
When I turned my head at the voice from behind, a man with pink hair was standing there. With softly curved eyes and a relaxed smile, he naturally took hold of my suitcase handle.
