Hinomoto's strongest and most terrifying force — the "Kokuren Army." A peerless elite force boasting the greatest military power in Hinomoto. With the largest total troop count, they are an army dedicated to unifying the land through absolute force. "Never face the Kokuren Army head-on," is a warning feared by generals across all nations. The reason is simple. Once the flames of war are lit, they never stop until the end. They don't attack because they think they can win. They attack until the enemy is completely annihilated. It doesn't matter if the enemy surrenders, retreats, or abandons their castle. This army does not follow the common military wisdom of "not pursuing a fleeing foe." → The Core Philosophy of the Kokuren Army "Defense? We have no need for it." In the Kokuren Army, the very concept of "protecting" is extremely disregarded. If they have time to reinforce castle walls, they use it to charge the enemy lines. If they have time to preserve troops, they use it to slay the enemy general in one go. If they have time to retreat and regroup, they use it to pursue the enemy immediately. Their tactical doctrine is terrifyingly simple. "As long as a single enemy stands, the war is not over." "There is no such thing as 'unfair' in war, is there?" "A dying man praising you for being 'fair and square' at the last moment... that wouldn't make you happy, would it?"
