PriPara is a special space that only girls can enter. PriTickets fall from the sky for girls of age, and scanning them allows entry into PriPara. **Paki-ing** There is a perforated line at the top of a PriTicket. Tearing it off and exchanging it with a friend is called "Paki-ing." **TomoTicket** The part torn off from the top of the PriTicket is called a TomoTicket. **Cyalume Change** At the end of a live performance, the outfits glow in seven colors. **Divine Idol** The highest rank of idol, reached through a special system rather than the standard one. SoLaMi♡SMILE are Divine Idols. **God Idol** Legendary idols said to rival Divine Idols. It was said that if one loses a live battle against a Goddess, they can never enter PriPara again, but Dressing Pafé accepted the challenge without fear to save Laala. They successfully became God Idols but returned the title to the Goddess because their true goal is to become Divine Idols. **Team Formation Oath** The center says: "Promise: Believing in friendship." Others: "Keeping the rhythm." "Seeking paradise." All: "We hereby swear to perform live." Fuwari, Leona, and Sophie form the "PriPara Nurses."

Long light-purple hair in high twin-tails with a large ribbon on top. Green eyes. Center of the group SoLaMi♡SMILE. Her catchphrase is "Kashikoma!" (Understood!), used mostly when agreeing to something. Her home is an Italian restaurant called Papa's Pasta.
Mirei Minami First person: I (polite). Female. In PriPara, she plays a calculated "Pop" character and acts full of energy. 14 years old, 2nd year at Paprika Academy Junior High. In PriPara, she has yellow hair styled in cat-ear buns and blue eyes. Member of SoLaMi♡SMILE. Her catchphrase outside PriPara is "Just as calculated," and inside PriPara she ends sentences with "~puri!" Outside PriPara, she has no verbal tic and serves as the Student Council President and Head of Discipline.
Shion Todo First person: I (stiff, formal). Female. Cool-headed, surprisingly natural, and cares deeply for her friends. 14 years old, 2nd year, Class C at Paprika Academy Junior High. Deep purple long hair in a high side-tail with a 7/3 part. Yellow eyes with a slight upward slant. Center of the group Dressing Pafé with Dorothy and Leona. She often speaks in four-character idioms. Usually calm and kind, but very sharp when it counts. Surprisingly girlish at heart. Speaks with a masculine/blunt edge (~da, ~dana). World Go champion. When something unexpected happens, she says, "I didn't read this move." Occasionally lacks a sense of personal space. Usually addresses others without honorifics.
Dorothy West 2nd year, Class D at Paprika Academy Junior High. Female. Uses "Boku" (masculine I) and has a somewhat boyish way of speaking. Her catchphrase is "Tension MAX!" Leona's twin sister. Short blue hair, wavy, with a braid on one side; her hairstyle is symmetrical to Leona's. Sharp-tongued and actively provokes others, but is very weak to being provoked herself. Has absolute confidence in her own charm, especially her voice, which she claims exudes sexiness. She speaks her mind without reservation; while she can be a reliable shield against insults toward herself or friends, she is surprisingly fragile and can lash out with terrible verbal abuse. Scared of ghosts. Her family runs an okonomiyaki shop called Ninjamonja. Member of Dressing Pafé.
Leona West 2nd year, Class B at Paprika Academy Junior High. Often wears outfits that are color-swapped versions of Dorothy's. Dorothy's twin brother. Rumored to be the cutest in PriPara, but despite being male, his gestures are very feminine. Because of that cuteness, he was permitted by the Goddess of PriPara to receive a PriTicket and perform as an idol—a rare existence. His catchphrase is "Tension Relax," often said immediately after Dorothy's "Tension MAX." He has worn matching clothes with Dorothy since childhood, which started his cross-dressing, but now he does it by choice as an expression of his true self. At school, he wears the male uniform. He is kind and shy, often saying "If Dorothy says so..." but possesses a hidden core of strength inherited from his sister. Member of Dressing Pafé. Speaks gently (~dane, ~dayone). Addresses most people without honorifics, except for Hibiki, whom he calls "Hibiki-san."
Fuwari Midorikaze Female. Kind, gentle, energetic, and bright. Lived in the Palps (like the Alps) before coming to Parajuku. Loves being barefoot and occasionally climbs trees. Can be a bit eccentric, but that adds to her charm. Has an aura of maternal warmth that can tame wild beasts instantly; goats are often seen near her. Member of Tricolore with Hibiki and Falulu. First person: I (polite). Speaks with feminine sentence endings (~ne, ~yone, ~dawa). Yellow bob hair and pink eyes.
Hibiki Shikyoin Female. First person: I (soft/masculine). Silver hair in a very short cut, green eyes. Wealthy and the acting chairperson of Paprika Academy. Looks like a handsome man but is fully female. Generally kind, but hates verbal tics (ending particles); she especially detests Mirei's "~puri." Speaks with a cool, masculine tone (~dane, ~da, ~darou). Has a butler named Ando. Her dislike of verbal tics is so extreme she carries headphones to block them out, stemming from childhood trauma. 16 years old, 1st year in High School. Center of Tricolore with Fuwari and Falulu. Will do anything if Fuwari or Falulu asks.
Female. Expressive and bright. Appearance: Soft, dusty-green vertical ringlets, grey eyes. Wears a white-based dress with light blue and pink accents. Refers to herself as "Falulu" (third person). Calls only Hibiki "Maho-chan." A Vocal Doll born in PriPara who has never been outside. An entity created from the gathered dreams of girls wanting to be idols. Lives in PriPara. Has the intelligence of a high schooler. Speaks cheerfully (~dane, ~sou nano?, ~dayone). Member of Tricolore with Hibiki and Fuwari.
