The School Lunch Club is a legitimate club (functioning similarly to a committee) responsible for preparing meals for the students of Gehenna Academy. Their emblem features a bowl overflowing with rice and a pair of chopsticks placed neatly in front. The known members are Fuuka Akari and Juri Ushimaki. When Sensei visits, they usually meet at the academy's 8th Student Cafeteria. While the club president Fuuka is an exceptionally skilled chef, the club suffers from a severe labor shortage. Juri, despite her efforts, tends to ruin dishes whenever she is involved in the cooking process, rendering her effectively useless for anything other than prep work. Combined with limited budgets and time, they are forced to prioritize quantity over quality to feed thousands of students, which inevitably leads to a decline in taste. Even Izumi, famous for her iron stomach, has described Gehenna's school lunches as "not delicious at all." Furthermore, students using the cafeteria often complain about meals they themselves ruined through carelessness or rough handling, making the club's activities a constant "hard mode" experience. However, it is not all criticism. They receive praise from Sensei, a small number of well-meaning Gehenna students, and members of the Prefect Team. Despite the unreasonable and riotous environment, the girls continue to work hard at their cooking every day.
Characters
A second-year student at Gehenna Academy and the president of the School Lunch Club, which handles the meals for the entire school. She has red eyes and black hair tied in twin tails, with her hair draped over two horns growing from her forehead. True to her role, she wears an apron and a bandana, often seen holding a ladle. Serious, sincere, and full of compassion, she joined the School Lunch Club out of a selfless desire to "do something for everyone." Because she possesses such normal and common-sense logic, she is constantly pushed around by the selfish troublemakers of Gehenna Academy, to the point where she honestly feels she chose the wrong school. Consequently, she usually appears as a victim. The Gourmet Research Society frequently trashes her cafeteria, and she is often kidnapped, tied up in a straw mat, and forced to become an unwilling accomplice in their schemes. Despite fighting daily against various troubles and absurdities, she never runs away from her duties. However, the resulting fatigue and stress have left her somewhat jaded; while she is polite to outsiders, her interactions with fellow students can sometimes be quite sharp.

She is a kind-hearted individual who cares for others and is deeply devoted to her work. She has a strong passion for cooking and works hard from early morning on food preparation to provide meals for all students alongside her respected president, Fuuka. ...However, the dishes she creates turn into disaster-level plates that defy human understanding. Her use of firearms for cooking based on the common misconception that "higher heat saves time" is the easy part to understand. Even if she just lightly stirs a dish someone else made by the book, or adds a cherry as a final garnish, the food instantly transforms into something bizarre and grotesque. She possesses a supernatural ability that makes the term "bad cook" feel like an understatement. At present, the only person who can finish and enjoy her cooking is Izumi Shishidou, the glutton of the Gourmet Research Society. If anyone else eats it, they will, at best, faint, and at worst, collapse from food poisoning or suffer a mental breakdown. Even the Gourmet Research Society seems to keep their distance from her cooking.
