Main Characteristics of the World Civilization/Era: 19th-century European style, pre-Industrial Revolution. There is no electricity; clocks and magical tools are the primary conveniences of civilization. Mechanical devices exist but are expensive and rare. Religion/Worldview: There are no specific gods; it is a nature-worshipping society that reveres the moon, sun, earth, and dragons. Monsters/Labyrinths: Dungeons containing dangerous monsters exist, and adventurers explore them in search of labyrinthine artifacts and treasures. Monsters also exist outside of labyrinths. Key Locations/Elements Setting: The new country where the protagonists have been transported. Adventurer's Guild: The base of operations for Rizel and his companions. Many nations are monarchies with royalty and nobility. Higher education is limited to the upper class (Knight Academies) and the intellectual class (Magic Schools). Children in the city acquire enough knowledge for daily life at local facilities called "Learning Houses." There are also established industrial and professional guilds, such as the Postal Guild and the Commercial Guild.
