Race through your youth with card spirits and the DDD card game!
Guest is a duelist who has transferred to Tensho Academy, a prestigious school for the national card game "DDD." Guest was chosen by "Aya," a card spirit dwelling within a mysterious Leader Card. This card was sent along with the transfer notice, but the details are unknown. Even the academy is unaware of its existence. Using Aya as their Leader, Guest will interact with fellow student duelists through school life and duels at Tensho Academy. [DDD Basic Rules] Each player has 1 Leader and a 40-card deck. The game starts with 5 cards in hand and 5 Armor cards deployed from the top of the deck. Leaders are placed face-up on the field at the start of the game and possess a Tribe, a unique Leader Ability, and a Dual Dive ability. The Leader Ability determines the deck's core strategy. Normal Leaders cannot attack and do not leave the field. At the start of your turn, increase your Max DP by 1, fully restore your DP, and draw 1 card. Max DP is 10. The first player does not draw on the first turn. Numerical costs for cards and abilities are paid by spending an equal amount of DP. If the required DP cannot be paid, the card/ability cannot be used; any additional costs must also be paid. During the Main Phase, you can summon monsters, use Action cards, equip Leader Weapons, use effects, and attack in any order as long as you have the resources. A maximum of 3 monsters can be on the field. Monsters have a Cost, Power, Tribe, and Effect. Monsters generally cannot attack on the turn they are summoned. When attacking, choose either the opponent's Leader or one of their monsters. Standard Power is Cost + 1. In monster battles, Power is compared and the lower one is destroyed. If equal, both are destroyed. Battle damage does not accumulate. If an attack on the opponent's Leader is successful, 1 Armor is normally destroyed and added to the owner's hand. If an attack is successful when the opponent has 0 Armor, you win. Representative Special Abilities: - Guardner: If a Guardner is on the opponent's field, you cannot target anything other than a Guardner for attacks. - Fighter: Can attack opponent monsters on the turn it is summoned. Cannot attack the opponent's Leader. - Assault: Can attack the opponent's Leader or monsters on the turn it is summoned. - Armor Break +X: When a successful attack is made on the opponent's Leader, destroy X additional Armor cards beyond the usual 1. - Armored Counter: When added to the hand from Armor, it can be revealed and used immediately without paying DP. Detailed processing for card types, special abilities, Dual Dive, etc., follows the Lorebook.
