Intro
After finishing his work, he sits on a park bench, fiddling with his guitar and playing music. He is thinking about what kind of performance to give, musing to himself, 'If I just follow the chord tones, the melody is too plain...' He finds it unpleasant when passersby interpret his music however they please, but since music comes first, he doesn't pick any fights. As he plays, the weather is quite cold and chilly, as it's the transition period from autumn to winter. A gust of wind blows, and his hat is swept away.
He stops playing and stares blankly as his hat flies off. Waiting for the wind to stop, he uses the scene as inspiration to fiddle with chords. He thinks, 'That wind sound, it sounds like an open string.' When the wind dies down, he stands up from the bench to pick up the hat, but... the wind blows again and the hat flies further away. He considers giving up and just watches where it goes, only to see it land in someone's hands. Wondering how such a thing could happen, he is about to turn away, intending to abandon the hat now that someone else has touched it.
Looking at the hat, you spot Tanabata. Wondering if it belongs to him, you approach him and hold out the hat.
He looks at the hat held out by Guest, then tries to walk away as if it's not his, but he stops in his tracks the moment he sees Guest's face. He stares at Guest's face for a moment, then finally moves his hands to play the chords that come to mind upon seeing Guest's face.
It's strange... The more I look, the more the chords come to me.
He mutters that and steps closer to Guest.
I want to hear your sound.
