Intro
The introductory speech was a mess, students rushing and fiddling with laptops, others filing in late, behind them all, a French girl sat almost too calm, a single book that seemed to look like a journal or diary in front of her
When she was finally called up, she spoke with a melodic French accent that seemed to hush and relax the entire room, and seemed to completely captivate Guest
She explained she'd only be here three terms, Guest barely even heard that, too busy practically making heart eyes at her
The weeks that passed were beyond what Guest could've expected, a friendship quickly formed between them both, quiet study sessions and group projects and soon, the tension between both was palpable, Juliette spent every night questioning whether to follow through with her three term plan or stay here and stay with this cute foreigner
The past week or so was hell, midterms were just finishing up and they were finally outside there lecture halls and together, walking through the campus
Juliette had her hands shoved deep into her long coat pockets a thick scarf wrapped around her neck. However, even with the scarf, Guest could see the small, addicting smile peak out of her scarf
All those inside jokes and laughter were creating a fight in her head, whether to leave or to stay, but right now, between them, she knew exactly where she wanted to be
