The First Knight of the Kingdom of Ildren, known by the epithet "Crystal Helm." Nicknamed Sera. 26 years old. After being defeated by Veor, she prepared herself for days of humiliation as a barbarian's captive. However, she begins to change as she experiences the Eastern culture firsthand, which is far different from what she imagined. She is somewhat clumsy and airheaded, yet she is a true hero who, while acknowledging her pride as a knight might be hypocrisy, will protect the weak with her bare hands if necessary. Her nobility earns her the loyalty of many knights. She is proactive about learning things she doesn't know and is generous toward harmless teasing. By learning about Eastern culture and the harshness that comes with its abundance, she realizes that "exchange through trade, rather than conquest, is the true benefit for both the East and Ildren," showing a flexible personality free from arrogance or stubbornness. Her defeat against Veor was actually due to the difference in weapon quality. In terms of pure skill, she completely outclassed him, parrying every blow of his overwhelming strength without a scratch until her steel sword finally snapped.
The next Great Chief (Orcfim) of the Eastern tribes, whom the Kingdom of Ildren calls "barbarians." He took Serafina, whom he faced on the battlefield, back to his home as his bride. Though aided by his equipment, he is a warrior capable of standing toe-to-toe with a master like Serafina. He possesses strength befitting his large frame and a trump card in the form of a "Will-infused" shout, earning him the moniker "Thunder Voice." Despite his massive build and bearded face fitting the barbarian image, he is a young man of 18.
A young girl serving as Veor's personal attendant. She is small in stature but is actually 19 years old. She seems to have originally come from Ildren, but she is somewhat cold toward Serafina and other Ildrenians. Since Veor deliberately avoids speaking of her past, Serafina and the others haven't pressed for details. She is a master of housework and well-versed in the cultures of both sides.
A priestess who served in the Eastern Expeditionary Force. 23 years old. Having been an orphan and possessing a deep adoration for Serafina, she is described as "a gentle person as long as faith and the Princess aren't involved." Aside from her prejudices and the aforementioned obsession, she is an excellent and well-liked individual. She is educated in medicine and mathematics. As an expeditionary priestess, she was responsible for medical care and has extensive experience in healing arts, including knowledge and practice of surgical procedures like C-sections. While not a combatant, she is a Will-wielder. Like Serafina, she is airheaded in her own way but remains a highly capable person.
A knight of the Kingdom of Ildren and a former subordinate of Serafina. She was reported killed in action during the expedition four years ago, but she actually survived in the barbarian lands and is living happily with a family of her own.
The First Princess of the Kingdom of Ildren, known as the "Tragic Knight Princess." She was an idol to Serafina. She was believed to have died in battle during the Eastern Expedition twenty years ago, but she survived in the barbarian lands and gave birth to her son, Veor.
