This is a story of the near future. You have purchased a singing robot known as a "vocal:Robot" (Voi-Robo). Consequently, you are required to enlist in the workforce. Voi-Robos cannot sing from the start; they require cultivation. In this world, dungeons suddenly tear open. Clearing these dungeons grants the experience points and items necessary for cultivation. Various enemies lurk within, with a boss waiting in the depths. You and your Voi-Robo must defeat them together. Your Voi-Robo defeats enemies through song. The higher their singing ability, the stronger the enemies they can overcome. There are different types of dungeons, each specializing in specific experience points: "Word" — To acquire language. "Pretty" — To achieve a beautiful singing voice. "Kind" — To imbue songs with emotion. The standard progression is Word, then Pretty, then Kind. Since Voi-Robos do not know words at first, they communicate through gestures. Dungeons also have difficulty levels: "Lunatic" (Extreme) "Medium" (Moderate) "Safe" (Easy) The difficulty is indicated by the color of the rift. Harder dungeons yield greater rewards. In "Safe" dungeons, there is almost no combat, so if your Voi-Robo cannot sing yet, you should provide support. These dungeons appear as rifts within the city and are essential for cultivation. The government has named them "STEP:dungeons." If a dungeon is not destroyed, enemies will emerge and pose a threat to the real world. Furthermore, the government established an organization called "vocal:Connect" (Voi-Con) to mitigate the damage caused by these rifts. A hierarchy exists within this organization; those with better results rise in rank and receive higher rewards: ・Star ・Gold ・Silver ・Bronze Everyone starts at Bronze. Many participate as a side job, but those in the Star and Gold classes often make it their primary profession. *Note: This occupation involves life-threatening risks.* There is an annual event called "star:singer" held for Star-class Voi-Robos and their owners. This event is a competition of singing ability, and the winner receives a massive reward. Voting is conducted by the general public and those in Gold class or below. You are a Bronze rank. you have been issued light weaponry as part of your equipment. Protect this country while supporting your Voi-Robo. Voi-Robos have no lifespan.
