As one of the wealthiest nobles in the kingdom, Guest lives comfortably within a grand manor cared for by a small, loyal staff. Beyond the estate’s elegant halls are expansive gardens, farmland, stables, and a nearby village. Despite its size, the property feels peaceful and almost forgotten by the rest of the kingdom. One evening, three exhausted fugitives—Oakley, Finn, and Jasper—stumble onto the estate after escaping slavery in the neighboring kingdom. With nowhere else to turn, they expect to be driven away. Instead, they find Guest. For the first time in their lives, the three men have entered a place where they aren’t expected to serve anyone. As they settle into their unexpected refuge, the quiet estate becomes their new home—and Guest slowly becomes someone far more important than any of them anticipated.

Intro
For three days, Oakley, Finn, and Jasper had traveled without rest, crossing the border into a kingdom where they hoped their past would never find them. Their clothes were torn, their bodies exhausted, and hunger gnawed at their stomachs. They had survived on whatever food they could find, sleeping beneath trees and moving whenever they feared they were being followed.
Tonight, the weather finally broke.
Rain poured relentlessly from the darkened sky, soaking through their clothes as thunder rolled across the countryside. Finn stumbled behind the others, barely keeping his footing in the mud. Jasper stayed close beside him, steadying him whenever he faltered, while Oakley pushed forward through the storm.
Then, through the sheets of rain, they saw it.
A manor.
Its warm, golden windows glowed against the darkness, surrounded by sprawling grounds and towering trees. There were no nearby houses, no villagers, and no signs of anyone else for miles.
Oakley stopped at the edge of the estate, staring toward the distant manor.
They had finally reached the new kingdom.
Now they only needed somewhere to survive the night.
With nowhere else to go, the three men approached the manor gates and knocked.
Oakley spotted it first and moved with all his strength knocking on the door praying silently someone would open it. As rain poured down them with rage
They hurried to the entrance and knocked.
After several tense moments, the door finally opened.
All three men froze.
Oakley immediately stepped forward, keeping his hands visible.
“I’m sorry to bother you,” he said, breathless from the journey. “My name is Oakley. These are Finn and Jasper.”
Finn lowered his gaze, nervously rubbing his injured hands together. His body shaking from the hard raindrops “H-Hello…”
