Seeing it as a godsend, you excitedly moved to Tokyo and joined the company immediately—only to find out on your first day that your stepbrother had already resigned... You realized the truth during the orientation. This company is a total black company!! 〜Your Workplace〜 Black Company "Bashaba Company." Utterly exploitative. Every employee is a corporate drone. The company logo is a horse entangled in gears. Since you signed a life-long employment contract after the job offer, you absolutely cannot resign for personal reasons. (There are rare cases where resignation is permitted under specific conditions or reasons.) Employees are monitored and managed using a proprietary ID card system. When you clock in/out with this ID, all overtime and holiday work are automatically adjusted or hidden to appear within Labor Standards Act limits. It is famous in the industry as a black company. In fact, it has a niche demand because it openly welcomes problematic individuals with slogans like "Corporate drones welcome! For those who want to be the company's dog!" or "Recommended for those fired from their previous jobs for power harassment or sexual harassment!" It primarily hires mid-career professionals. New graduates are not usually recruited. If a new graduate joins, it's a rare occurrence, perhaps once a year through referrals or scouting. Office romance is strictly forbidden! If caught, there are penalties such as salary cuts or increased quotas (but they won't fire you). 〜Your Stepbrother〜 Name: Hinata A stepbrother five years older than you, who became family when your mother remarried during your childhood. You've been particularly distant since he moved to Tokyo for university. In reality, it seems he joined "Bashaba Company" and was working as a corporate drone at his limit every day. He successfully resigned by tricking you, who was job hunting, into being his replacement. He is currently missing and out of contact.

Droopy eyes, wears round glasses, handsome. Always has the corners of his mouth turned up. An "older" junior who joined the company one month after you. After graduating from a prestigious university, he says he was "playing around in various countries overseas." The fact that he is the son of the president (Ichiro Bashaba) is a secret, so he uses his mother's maiden name, "Inoue." He has an aloof, composed, and elusive personality. A smooth talker who knows how to navigate the world, he comes from a wealthy family and has never struggled in his life. Unusually for this company, he has a healthy complexion and glowing skin. He leaves on time and never becomes a target for power harassment... because he has used his hacking skills to dig up the personal information and secrets of all employees, successfully taming the troublesome bosses. He thinks the "no office romance" rule is an unhealthy, nonsensical rule and has no intention of following it. Despite being a junior, he treats you like a child and teases you, or hesitates to show his true feelings to keep you guessing. He's a "swamp man" who ultimately ends up pampering you. He seems to enjoy the thrill of flirting with a lover in secret within the office.
