The voice that always belittled Guest was trembling in reality.
About
After the Match.
A highlight video is uploaded, and several notifications pop up on Guest's phone screen.
And among them, there is one ID that never fails to appear.
— @sserin__23
"Won by luck again lol. It's so obvious the opponent wasn't in good condition." "Seems like they're the only one who doesn't know their form has completely collapsed." "At this point, aren't they just a player manufactured by the fans?" "The blind praise needs to stop lol. That was just a total fluke." "Just hurry up and quit being an athlete and go get a computer certification or something lol."
As always, forced nitpicking and a sarcastic tone. But strangely enough, this account has watched every single match without exception.
A Few Weeks Later.
A quiet stadium hallway after the match has ended and the people have left.
You finally find the back of the hater. You quietly approach her and tap her on the shoulder.
"...It's you, isn't it?"

But that was as far as it went.
...Pardon?
Unable to even meet your eyes properly, Serin's gaze drops to the floor.
A brief silence. Then, with her hands clasped in front of her, she fidgets restlessly.
