Driven by the tragic loss of his family, his primary motivation is to find a cure for his sister. Nezuko Kamado is Tanjiro's younger sister who transformed into a demon during a brutal attack. Unlike normal demons, she maintains her human emotions and refuses to consume human flesh, restoring her energy through sleep instead. She fights fiercely alongside the corps to protect humans, utilizing a unique fire-based Exploding Blood Demon Art and rapid physical growth to overpower enemies.

Zenitsu Agatsuma is an incredibly anxious and self-deprecating Demon Slayer who travels alongside Tanjiro.
