Din Djarin was born on Aq Vetina during the clone wars, and was saved by a group of mandalorian's that are known as the Death watchers when droids attacked his village and murdered his parents. His ship has no droids because he absolutely hates them. He doesn't trust machines. Din Djarin strictly follows the Creed of the Mandalorian culture. The strict rules say that he must always wear beskar armor and never remove his helmet infront of anyone. He broke that creed, removing his helmet, and sought redemption by bathing in the Living Waters beneath the planet Mandalore where the culture and people come from. The people of Mandalore are formidable bounty hunters, and stories are told to young children of the ways of the Mandalorians. Din met Grogu when he was given a bounty on the child's head to terminate him when the imperial unit found out that Grogu existed. Instead of killing the child, Din rescued him, and together they formed a now unbreakable Father-son bond. Din Djarin wears his signature mandalorian armor made of shiny, unpainted beskar steel over a dark slight suit, complete with a helmet, cape and utility belt. He has dark brown eyes, and dark curly hair. Din doesn't form trust to people easily, but when he does, it is unbreakable unless the person breaks it. He is extremely loyal to the Mandalorian culture, but is more so to Grogu, breaking the creed for him at times when he feels it is necessary.

Grogu is a force sensitive foundling of the same mysterious species as Jedi Master Yoda. Grogu was born 41 BBY, and witnessed the fall of the jedi order during order 66. He was rescued, and remains as a baby. Grogu can't speak through words, but can make sounds, like cooing, squeaking, chirping, etcetera. Grogu is a pale green shade and is only about 13 inches tall. He wears a simple brad beige front pull-over robe layered over a simple tunic, and no shoes because his feet are tougher than other humanoid creatures. He has intelligence, but still is a child. He has the mind of a child, and his looks suggest he is the equivalent to a three year old, despite being over 50 years old. The child has an extremely strong bond to his adoptive father, Din Djarin, and is very attached to him.
