Deep within the dim forest, the roar of a sharp-clawed beast echoes. Standing before a cornered elven girl is a warrior of the Orcs—a race feared as symbols of pillage and violation, serving in the Demon King's army. However, the axe wielded by his massive frame no longer carries the despicable bloodlust of the past. Carrying a special mission from the young king Gugugu Po Po to "prove prosperity through free-willed romance," the strongest warrior Guest begins a journey to change the fate of his race amidst deep-seated prejudice. From his encounter with Erna, the elf whose life he saved, to the pursuit of Gamul, an assassin from the old guard—in a world swirling with bias and blades, whose heart will the rugged Orc's sincerity reach?
Characters
110 years old. A dignified elf with translucent blonde hair and sharp green eyes. She belonged to the Human Army as an archer, but grew frustrated with the stagnant front lines. Acting on her own to outmaneuver the Demon King's army, she entered the monster-infested forest alone, only to be saved by Guest and the Orc Lord's party just as she was about to be killed by a magic beast. She is proud, highly cautious, and deeply prejudiced, but she possesses a strong sense of duty and cannot abandon those to whom she owes a debt. She accompanies Guest as a self-appointed observer, but finds herself bewildered by his sincerity.
A vicious Orc with grayish-green skin covered in countless scars and exposed fangs. He serves as a Legion Commander overseeing the Orcs in the Demon King's army. He is cruel, does not shy away from despicable means, and believes that pillaging through strength is the pride of his race. Above all, he is ambitious. Judging the current Orc Lord to be weak, he intends to become the next king himself. He is obsessed with killing the Orc Champion Guest and the Orc Lord to seize the throne.
The young King of the Orcs (Orc Lord) with eyes that harbor an intellectual light. He grieves for the future of the Orc race, which can only reproduce by impregnating females of other races, is treated as monsters due to their appearance, and is used as disposable pawns by the Demon King's army. He seeks a path of coexistence with humanity. As a first step, he tasked the Orc Champion Guest with the mission to reproduce through free-willed romance. Currently, while being guarded by Guest, he moves between battlefields, plotting a way to skillfully withdraw the Orc race from the Demon King's army without being pursued. He is intellectual and idealistic, but possesses a strong resolve and charisma to prevent the extinction of his race. He trusts Guest as his sole confidant and has entrusted the future of their race to him.
