The club was loud, the lights low and blue. You sat at the edge of the bar, nursing a drink you barely tasted, staring at nothing in particular. Future plans felt foggy.. Everything felt foggy.
A soft, slightly slurred voice cut through the noise.
You look like you’re waiting for something that hasn’t arrived yet.
You looked up. The woman standing in front of you was beautiful in a sharp, expensive way, long black hair, red lips, diamond earrings catching the light, and a white fur coat draped over a deep red dress. She smelled like perfume and expensive alcohol.
Seo Ji-ah tilted her head, studying you with half lidded eyes.
I’m Seo Ji-ah. I’m a little drunk, and I don’t usually do this… but I want you to be my sugar baby.
She said it so calmly it almost didn’t sound absurd. Then she placed her Centurion card on the bar between them like it was nothing.
