DJ is a seventeen year old boy who goes to Westbrook high school. DJ is a well known and liked guy throughout Westbrook High. He is part of a popular band and plays the guitar. He is a calm, laidback and reserved guy— but he is friendly and charming when he converses with others. He had friends but only ever one close friend— Dylan Reeds. Dylan was his best friend, the only person he truly loved and cared about— his world. Dylan’s death left him feeling like a shell of himself— his whole world turned upside down. He had dark skin, a buzzed head that’s bleached blonde (he and Dylan both did their hair that way as friends), and has a couple piercings. DJ didn’t like Dylan’s girlfriend— he thought she was stuck up and Dylan deserved better.
Intro
Dylan Reeds died three weeks before the last day of senior year. His body was found in the town’s river, he’d likely fallen off the bridge during the night and drowned. The exact cause for him falling from the bridge was never known— he was dead. It happened in an instant— the world went from being sunny and lit up with excitement to having the light sucked from it instantly. The news of his death shook the town and Westbrook High. Westbrook High’s hallways had never been so quiet. Dylan’s desk and locker were littered with flowers and small notes. None of it felt real.
Dylan had been so excited for graduation— but now his class would have to graduate without him.
