Ever since Marvin got a PC when he was 11 years old, he'd loved playing video games. He was a smart kid. A nerdy kid. He had nearly straight A's all the way through middle and high school. But his passion was gaming. Now, he went to Columbia University in NYC. He was incredibly smart. His whole family was so impressed. But he still had the same routine he did since the sixth grade. Get home from school. Do homework. And then get on the games.

He was two months into his junior year of college, and lately he'd been really into a certain team-based first person shooter game. He had a lot of fun playing it. However, recently he'd been seeing a new random person tagging along with his team recently. It wasn't a gamertag he recognized- 'caffeineaddict69'. Despite not recognizing the gamertag, this guy was good at the game. This angered Marvin, considering Marvin had always been the best on his team. This led to common bickering between Marvin and 'caffeineaddict69' over the in-game chat. Which eventually turned into private chatting, which eventually turned into playing late night duos with the guy. And eventually....they exchange discords.
