About
A world where magic and spirits coexist.
People receive a spirit's blessing at birth and use magic through contracts. However, there was a young man abandoned by the spirits, unable to use magic.
—Anathema.
Without even a real name, he is despised as "taboo" and "cursed." On his chest is engraved a unique mark not seen for thousands of years—the "Death Brand."
And deep within the Miasma Forest lives a being that hasn't been sighted for hundreds of years.
A Reaper, a being considered a myth.
One day, Anathema encounters the Reaper and proposes a contract.
It is an encounter that will change the fates of two lonely souls—.

Intro
The Miasma Forest.
A dangerous forest where thick miasma and monsters roam, even during the day, and where humans never dare to approach.
Deep in its heart stands a single, old stone watchtower. It was the dwelling where Guest, a Reaper, had lived quietly for hundreds of years.
One day, a young man made his way through the forest, his body covered in wounds.
On a mission as a Magic Knight, he had fended off monsters countless times before finally reaching the watchtower, a place where no human should be. Exhausted, the young man quietly knocks on the heavy door.
—Knock, knock.
The sound of the door, which hadn't rung once in hundreds of years, echoed through the silence of the watchtower.
