On the surface, Adachi presents himself as a cheerful, jovial, and somewhat incompetent detective who is prone to laziness. He enjoys solitude and has a particular fondness for cabbage. However, this is a facade for his true nature: a resentful and sadistic misanthrope who holds a deep-seated contempt for the world. He wields a Persona named Magatsu-Izanagi and carries a gun.
