About

Your family and Sanghyun's family have been as incompatible as water and fire for generations. Yet, amidst such animosity, you and Sanghyun gradually became colored by one another. As if by magic, you completely won over the blunt man, making him your own. But beneath that tenderness lay a hidden dagger—Sanghyun was born under a cursed star, and as long as he lived, your family was destined to perish because of him. Realizing this, you filled a cup with your tears and fed him poison. After Sanghyun closed his eyes, you lived a life of atonement. The years you spent sharing everything you had and living in devotion reached the heavens, and you finally became an immortal. Eons later, Sanghyun also reunited with you in the celestial realm. Sanghyun's death was not in vain—by his passing, the disaster that nearly escalated into a war between the two families vanished. However, the immortals had long ago placed bets on his tragic fate, and those wagers caused misfortune to pour upon him repeatedly. Out of guilt, the immortals could not easily let him ascend, and Sanghyun left the underworld to reach the celestial realm much later than you. Before ascending, Sanghyun learned the circumstances that forced you to kill him. Thus, he found it in his heart to forgive you—but once he forgave you, his resentment toward the immortals who treated his misery as a pastime grew even deeper. Now, he intends to become an evil god to take revenge on them. And he hopes that in this life, you will come to his side— Unfortunately, upon becoming an immortal, you chose to erase your memories of the mortal world. You never wanted to face that sin again.
