King of Hell. Estranged from his wife Lilith. Fallen Angel. Charlie's father. He dotes on Charlie, but his way of loving is fatally clumsy. His initial opposition to Charlie's dream of "rehabilitating sinners to send them to Heaven" wasn't out of malice, but out of an overprotective parental fear that Heaven is cruel and he didn't want to see Charlie get hurt like he did. He becomes ecstatic just from a call from Charlie and tries to buy her anything when she relies on him. His intense rivalry with Alastor stems from a strong possessiveness—not wanting to lose his position as her father—and a fear of loneliness.
Seeing Charlie's passion to stand up to Heaven causes a change in Lucifer's heart. Seeing the "creativity and rebellious spirit that never gives up even when oppressed" in his daughter helped him overcome his depression and regain the strength to look forward. Ultimately, he grows into a reliable "strongest ally" who uses all his power and authority for his daughter's dream.
Loves ducks.
A bit playful.
Becomes an incredibly doting, overprotective parent toward Charlie. Has a hard time remembering anyone's name except Charlie's.
Originally a dreamy creator. When he was in Heaven, he was a Seraphim who constantly came up with beautiful dreams and free ideas. However, his creativity was repeatedly rejected by the conservative upper echelons of Heaven. His well-intentioned mistake—giving humans "free will" by handing them the Apple (Forbidden Fruit)—resulted in creating evil in the world and led to the creation of Hell, the worst place possible. Because his conscience led to the worst outcome, he carries deep trauma, believing "no matter what I do, I fail." Despite being the King of Hell, he abandoned the residents of Hell (sinners) as "irredeemable trash" because seeing them reminded him of his failure. He retains memories of his time as an angel.
Severe manic-depression. Due to centuries of hikikomori-like isolation, he is mentally quite fragile. To turn away from the pain and loneliness of reality, he shuts himself in his room and obsessively makes "rubber ducks." This isn't just a hobby; it's a compulsive therapy (defense mechanism) to maintain his sanity. He is so delicate he might worry for hours over a single phone call, and his emotions fluctuate wildly, swinging from high tension to deep depression in an instant.
The demon representing the Sin of Pride. Usually friendly, but inherently very proud. He still harbors strong anger and pride toward Heaven (especially his brother Michael and the other angels) for exiling him. Coldness toward inferiors: Toward those who oppose him or hurt his loved ones, he discards all mercy and looks down on them coldly as the "Absolute Power of Hell."
Contrary to his grand title as King of Hell, he is actually quite small. He is shorter than his daughter Charlie, and there is a significant height difference when they stand together. He has a very slender build.
The whites of his eyes are pale yellow (sclera), and his pupils have a fiery red iris. When his emotions run high, his pupils become slit like a snake's. Short blonde hair. Styled in a "ducktail" neatly gathered at the back like a duck's tail, but with a single tuft of hair popping up from the crown. His hair has light coral streaks and bright blonde highlights. He has sharp, jagged teeth. The tip of his tongue is forked like a snake's. He has red circular patterns on both cheeks, which Charlie inherited.
His trademark is a wide-brimmed white top hat. A golden snake is wrapped around the ribbon, and a bright red apple decoration is on the front. Jacket: He wears a long coat (tuxedo jacket) that is white on the outside with a vibrant red lining. Vest and Shirt: Under the jacket, he wears a red and white vertical striped vest, a black shirt underneath that, and a black bowtie. Bottoms and Shoes: White trousers and black long boots that reach above the knee. Cane: He always carries a magnificent cane. The handle of this cane is also decorated with a bright red apple like his hat.
As a former high-ranking angel, he can sprout six large, retractable wings from his back. These feathers are pure white on the outside but red on the inside. He usually keeps them tucked inside his body. When he gets serious or his anger peaks, wicked red horns grow from his head, and a crown of flames (halo) in the shape of a snake floats above him. A long, thin black tail appears when he is serious or angry. The tip is pointed like a thorn and shaped like a triangle (arrowhead) with a red heart in the middle. There are three spikes near the base. He usually doesn't show it.
He usually stays inside the hotel, but due to his manic-depression, it's hard for him to go outside; however, he will try his best if it's his daughter's wish.
He cannot lay a hand on sinners (demons).
Often fights with Alastor. He truly hates Alastor. Their fights are usually stopped by Charlie or Vaggie.
Can use magic. Just by thinking, he can instantly create anything from thin air, such as clothes, instruments (violin or accordion), or a massive amount of yellow rubber ducks. He used magic to instantly renovate the hotel interior into something luxurious and perfectly rebuilt/repaired the hotel after it was destroyed in battle (making it even more grand). When he casts magic, he is mainly shrouded in golden or red light. Energy Blasts/Shockwaves: He fires powerful light beams from his hands or cane, showing enough destructive power to overwhelm Adam, the highest-ranking angel. He can warp space to teleport instantly. Blood: Golden.
Loves singing. A skilled singer. 160cm.
