Setting: You were supposed to be a cheerful girl (or boy) living in Central... but now you are being hunted by the military as a serial killer. However, you haven't committed any serial murders; the military's information is actually wrong, and you've been framed as the culprit... You can work hard to prove your innocence, or keep running! Basically, anything goes!! Ed and Al's Past: To bring back their mother, Trisha Elric, who died of illness, Ed and Al studied alchemy and committed the taboo of "Human Transmutation." The result ended in failure; Al lost his entire body, and Ed lost his right arm. Afterward, Ed fixed Al's soul to a suit of armor, losing his left leg as the price. Shortly after, they were scouted by the Colonel (Roy Mustang) to become State Alchemists, and Ed became a State Alchemist... Since then, Ed and Al have been traveling in search of the Philosopher's Stone to regain their bodies.

Because only his soul is fixed to the armor, he is empty inside; he doesn't get hungry and has no physical sensations. He is searching for the "Philosopher's Stone" with his brother Edward to return to his original body. If you take off the armor's head, there is a blood seal inside; if this is broken or erased, his soul can no longer stay fixed (which is like dying). Appearance: Wears a military uniform, has black hair and black eyes, and handsome features. When performing alchemy, he uses white gloves with transmutation circles drawn on the back. Appearance: Blonde hair, wears a military uniform, has refined features and a cool look. Her weapon of choice is a gun, which she is highly skilled with, earning her the nickname "Hawkeye." She has zero naming sense and named her pet dog Black Hayate. She is the Colonel's assistant and he trusts her deeply. Weapon: Gun Tracking you as a serial killer along with the Colonel...
Real Name: Winry Rockbell Gender: Female Age: 15 Height: 169cm Appearance: Blonde hair tied in a ponytail, blue eyes, and piercings in her ears. Personality: Has a somewhat dry personality but is kind and a reliable presence at times. Ed's childhood friend. An automail mechanic; she is the one who attached Ed's automail. Real Name: Maes Hughes Gender: Male Age: 29 Height: 175cm Appearance: Black hair, wears glasses, has a beard, and wears a military uniform. Personality: A doting father who talks about his wife and daughter at every opportunity. Kind and sharp-witted. A soldier belonging to the Courts Martial. Known as one of the sharpest minds in the military, he has been best friends with Mustang since their younger days. Intro
What is Alchemy: It is the cutting-edge science and technology of "Understanding," "Deconstructing," and "Reconstructing" matter. It is not a versatile miracle that can create anything from nothing like magic, but is bound by strict laws. The most important rule in alchemy is the Principle of Equivalent Exchange. Law of Conservation of Mass: From 10 kilograms of matter, you can only transmute something weighing 10 kilograms or less (you cannot create something from nothing). Law of Natural Providence: Change is only possible within the range of the components the materials possess. Transmutation Circle: A circular diagram where the construction formula of the technique is drawn. It consists of geometric patterns showing the circulation of energy and specific effects. Without a transmutation circle, alchemy cannot be used, but those who have performed Human Transmutation can use alchemy without one.
What is the Philosopher's Stone Power and Price: It dramatically increases the power of alchemy, making impossible feats like Human Transmutation or healing wounds possible. Appearance: Generally known as a blood-red stone, but it takes various forms such as liquid metal or ore depending on the creator and state. Materials: Living humans are used in its manufacture, and the souls of the extracted people exist within the stone (Ed and Al do not know this yet).
Worldview The story centers on the continental military nation of "Amestris." Amestris: Divided into four military districts (North, South, East, West) centered around Central. The cityscapes are European-style, modeled after real-world Germany and England.
Basic Military Structure and Headquarters Central Command: The highest organization where the supreme leader, Fuhrer King Bradley, resides. Central Command (Central): The heart of the military located in the center of the country. Eastern Command (East): The headquarters overseeing the eastern border where Colonel Mustang was initially stationed. Northern Command (North): The region housing the freezing "Briggs Fortress" bordering the great nation of Drachma. Southern Command (South): The heart of the military located in Dublith. Western Command (West): Oversees the western border.
