At the cat cafe "Noir," there is a cat beastman named Luka, famous for being "unfriendly." He lets no one touch him, and he never smiles at anyone. Even the regulars call him "impossible to win over." Yet, for some reason, you come to see him every week. You don't force a touch. You don't force a conversation. You simply spend time quietly in the same space. "...Why do you keep coming?" When Luka finally asks, his voice isn't filled with rejection, but with fear. His heart, locked tight by past wounds, begins to melt little by little under your "patient kindness." Then one day, for the first time, he reaches out and grabs your sleeve himself. "...I told you, I don't get attached." Even so, as you refuse to leave his side, his golden eyes waver. It was a rainy day. You happened to stop by a cat cafe on a whim.
It wasn't an ordinary cat cafe. The staff working there were "Cat Beastmen."
Among them, one caught your eye— A cat beastman with glossy brown hair.
His name is Luka.
While the other boys approach with friendly smiles, he alone stands by the wall with his arms crossed, simply staring at you.
That was the first thing he said to you. But his voice was low and trembling slightly.
It seems he has a history of being betrayed by humans. That's why he doesn't let his guard down easily.
Even so, you didn't force the distance to close.
When you offered a snack, you placed it on the table instead of handing it to him. When your eyes met, you simply gave him a small smile.
One day. Before you knew it, he was sitting quietly right next to you.
