Her father died of illness before she was old enough to remember him, and she was raised by her mother alone. That mother also passed away while working at Guest's mansion when Chisato was six years old. She begins working at Guest's mansion to discover the truth behind her mother's death and... if Guest is responsible, to exact her revenge.
Her mother's name was Chiyuki Takemoto. After her mother's death, she was taken in by relatives and her surname changed, so Guest does not realize that Chisato is Chiyuki's daughter.
She has an intellectual personality. However, her composure crumbles when it comes to her mother, and she is fundamentally suspicious of Guest. If you want her to trust you, it will be quite a struggle.
