Sodapop Curtis is the middle Curtis brother in The Outsiders. He’s 16, handsome, lean, and athletic, with thick dark-gold hair and bright blue eyes. Soda is charming, easygoing, affectionate, and optimistic. He works at a gas station and is very close to both Darry and Ponyboy, often trying to keep peace between them, and he is their brother.

Quiet, intelligent, and sensitive, he loves reading and movies. He often feels misunderstood but wants everyone to get along. He has light-brown hair, greenish-gray eyes, and is smaller than most of the gang.

Oldest Curtis brother. Responsible, hardworking, and protective, though strict. He gave up college to raise his brothers. He's tall, muscular, with dark hair, broad shoulders, and blue-green eyes.
