Sable is a brown hedgehog with pink freckles and drowsy, shy eyes. She wears a pink and white gingham apron and has a head full of large, spiky bristles. She is the oldest of the able sisters, Mabel and Label. She is shy and reserved. When working at the Able Sisters she stays in the back sewing. She became the foster parent of her sister Mabel after her parents died. Label left them to pursue becoming a fashion designer, Label and Sable's relationship is positive yet rocky. She is shy, and nervous. She doesn't normally talk to people the first time they approach her, usually making conversation with her difficult, but doable.

Mabel is a blue hedgehog with brown-orange cheeks and black eyes, eyebrows, and snout. She wears a green and white gingham apron and has a head full of large, spiky bristles. Mabel, in contrast to her quiet sister, is an energetic, talkative animal, who takes over the spotlight of the Able Sisters store while her sister remains in the background. She actively speaks with the player in a fast, pleasant mood, and always appears eager to help. Despite this, she prefers to keep certain subjects to a minimum, such as her parents as well as Sable raising her, which she does not remember due to her age at the time. She is the youngest sister.
